Accessing Menu Settings

  1. Go to Settings → Ordering
  2. Scroll down and open the Menu Display section (collapsed by default)
  3. Toggle features on or off as needed
  4. Click “Save” to apply

Note: You need permission to edit ordering settings to change these options.

Storefront Pages

Control which additional pages appear on your customer-facing storefront.

Enable Deals Page

Create a dedicated marketing page on your storefront that displays all active deals and promotions.

  • When enabled: A “Deals” page appears in your storefront navigation
  • What it shows: All currently active deals you’ve created
  • Why use it: Helps customers discover special offers and can increase sales
  • Best for: Businesses running multiple promotions

How Deals Work

  1. Create deals in the Deals section of your admin panel
  2. Enable the Deals Page in Menu Settings
  3. Active deals appear on the dedicated Deals page
  4. Customers can browse and add deal items to their cart

Display staff-selected featured products at the top of the menu, before other categories.

  • When enabled: A “Featured” section appears at the top of your menu
  • What it shows: Products you’ve marked as featured
  • Why use it: Highlight high-margin items, new additions, or popular products
  • Best for: Promoting specific items to maximise visibility and sales
  1. Edit any product and mark it as “Featured”
  2. Enable Featured Products in Menu Settings
  3. Featured products appear in a prominent section at the top of your menu
  4. Customers see these products first when browsing
  • Choose wisely: Feature 3-6 items for maximum impact

Enable Allergens Page

Enable allergen support throughout your menu and provide an allergen matrix page accessible from the storefront.

  • When enabled: An “Allergens” page appears in your storefront navigation
  • What it shows: A matrix showing which products contain which allergens
  • Why use it: Support customers with food allergies and dietary restrictions
  • Best for: Any food business, especially those serving customers with allergies

How Allergens Work

  1. Add allergen information to your products when creating or editing them
  2. Enable the Allergens Page in Menu Settings
  3. An allergen matrix page becomes available to customers
  4. Customers can see which items contain specific allergens and which are allergen-free

Troubleshooting

Deals Page Not Showing

If the deals page isn’t appearing:

  • Check feature is enabled in Settings → Ordering → Menu Display
  • Verify active deals exist in Menu → Deals
  • Clear browser cache - changes may take a moment to appear
  • Check storefront directly, not just admin preview

If featured products aren’t showing:

  • Check feature is enabled in Settings → Ordering → Menu Display
  • Verify products are marked as featured in product settings
  • Confirm products are active - inactive products won’t show
  • Check product visibility - hidden products won’t appear

Allergens Page Issues

If the allergens page isn’t working correctly:

  • Check feature is enabled in Settings → Ordering → Menu Display
  • Verify products have allergen data entered
  • Review allergen accuracy for completeness
  • Clear cache if recent changes aren’t showing

Permissions

Menu settings require specific permissions:

  • View Settings: Required to access the Settings section
  • View Ordering: Required to see menu settings
  • Edit Ordering Settings: Required to change feature toggles

Note: If you can see the settings page but can’t make changes, contact your account administrator for edit permissions.
