Accessing Business Settings
- Go to Settings → Business
- View or edit your business information and regional settings
Note: You need permission to view and edit business settings. If you don’t see the option or can’t make changes, contact your account administrator.
Business Information
Business Name
- Where to find it: Settings → Business → Business Details
- What it affects: How your business appears to customers and in admin panels
- When to update: Business name changes, rebranding, or corrections
- Requirements: Must accurately represent your business
- Display: Shown on storefront, order confirmations, and receipts
- Editable: Yes, if you have edit permissions
Currency
- Where to find it: Settings → Business → Business Details
- Status: Set during business creation and cannot be changed
- What it affects: All pricing, payments, and financial calculations
- Why fixed: Changing currency would affect existing orders and financial records
- Display: Shown as read-only text (not editable)
- Contact support: If currency needs to be changed for business reasons

Available Timezones
- UTC: Coordinated Universal Time

- Australian: Sydney

Initial Configuration

- Verify currency (shown as read-only, cannot be changed later)

Permissions
Business settings require specific permissions:
- View Settings: Required to access the Settings section
- View Business: Required to see business information
- Edit Business Settings: Required to make changes to business settings
Note: If you can see the settings page but can’t make changes, you may only have view permissions. Contact your account administrator (Owner, Admin, or Manager) to request edit permissions.
Only Owners, Admins, and Managers typically have permission to edit business settings. Other roles may only be able to view the settings.
Remember: Your business settings form the foundation of how your restaurant operates in the system. Accurate information and appropriate regional settings ensure smooth operations and a professional customer experience!
