Are there any commission or per-order fees?
We don't take commission on your orders.
When customers pay online, the only additional cost is standard card processing fees from your payment provider. We include Stripe as our built-in payment solution, and if you use Square POS, payments are processed through Square instead.
There are no other per-order charges from TypeMenu.
How do payments work?
Payments go directly to your own account — we never hold your money.
Stripe is our built-in payment provider with simple onboarding — connect an existing account or create one in minutes. If you use Square POS, card payments are processed through your Square account instead.
You can also offer cash on collection or delivery. All card processing fees are visible in your payment provider's dashboard.
Do I need technical skills to set this up?
No technical skills required.
TypeMenu is designed to be set up by anyone. Most businesses are live within 30–60 minutes, and we're happy to help if you need onboarding support.
Will my customers actually use it instead of Just Eat or Deliveroo?
TypeMenu isn't about replacing aggregators — it's about giving your existing customers a better way to order directly from you.
