Deals

Deals let you create automated discounts that apply based on order contents, customer type, time of day, and more. Whether you're running a limited-time offer, weekday special, or reward for logged-in users, deals give you full control over the logic behind promotions.

Deals are managed using a guided wizard. Any time you create or edit a deal, you’ll step through the full setup process.

Deal Types

When creating a deal, you’ll choose from one of the following types:

  • Percentage Off Cart – A % discount applied to the subtotal
  • Fixed Amount Off Cart – A set discount (e.g. £5 off)
  • Free Delivery – Removes the delivery charge for qualifying orders

Basic Settings

  • Deal Name – This is shown on the storefront and order summary
  • Priority – Lower numbers run first if multiple deals apply
  • Exclusive Deal – If enabled, no other deals will apply when this one does
  • Active – Must be toggled on for the deal to run
  • Promote Deal – Shows this deal on the “Deals” tab on your storefront
  • Start/End Dates – Optional. Leave blank to run indefinitely

Conditions

Define when this deal should apply:

  • Customer Type
    • All Customers
    • Guest Only
    • Logged-in Only
  • Order Type
    • All Orders
    • Delivery Only
    • Collection Only
  • Minimum Spend
    • Set a threshold for the order subtotal before the deal activates
  • Day & Time Restrictions
    • Choose which days the deal applies (e.g. Monday–Friday)
    • Set optional time windows (e.g. 14:00–17:00 for “Happy Hour”)

Product & Category Restrictions

Use restrictions to control what must—or must not—be in the cart for the deal to apply.

Product Restrictions

  • No Product Restrictions – Applies regardless of what’s ordered
  • Must Include – Deal only runs if the selected product is in the cart
  • Exclude If Present – Deal will not run if the selected product is in the cart

Category Restrictions

  • No Category Restrictions – Applies across all products
  • Must Include – The cart must include an item from the chosen category
  • Exclude If Present – Deal won’t apply if items from this category are present

Final Step: Define the Value

Depending on the type of deal you selected, you’ll enter either:

  • A percentage to discount
  • A fixed amount to discount
  • (For Free Delivery) no value—just confirm

This completes the setup. Click Save to activate the deal if it’s toggled as Active.

Customer Experience

Customers see qualifying deals:

  • In the cart (with discount applied)
  • On the checkout page
  • On the order confirmation and receipt
  • In the “Deals” tab (if promotion is enabled)

Notes

  • Only active deals will run
  • Exclusive deals block all others if triggered
  • Priorities control which non-exclusive deals apply when more than one matches
  • Deals run automatically—no coupon code needed
